About Radeberger Pilsner:
GREAT TASTE DOES NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF THE WORD COMPROMISE.
When you’ve brewed an iconic German Pilsner as long as we have, you have plenty of time to get it right. However, the true test of greatness is maintaining impeccable standards through all the twists and turns of time – both good and bad alike. Despite the ups and downs of the world around us over the past 140 years, we’ve never once compromised our technique or ingredients. We remain committed to the ideal of quality over quantity, which means we brew every drop of Radeberger Pilsner in our hometown, as we’ve always done, to ensure absolute consistency and quality around the world.Wherever you enjoy the distinctive flavor of Radeberger Pilsners, it will taste as crisp and as fresh as it does straight from the tap in our brewery. Now there’s a promise few others can make.

Wine Spectator’s 2017 Best of Award of Excellence for City Winery Nashville!
City Winery Nashville is the proud recipient of Wine Spectator’s 2017 Award of Excellence!
Wine Spectator tasters review wines on the following 100-point scale:
- 95-100 Classic: a great wine
- 90-94 Outstanding: a wine of superior character and style
- 85-89 Very good: a wine with special qualities
- 80-84 Good: a solid, well-made wine
- 75-79 Mediocre: a drinkable wine that may have minor flaws
- 50-74 Not recommended
Finished wines, reviewed from bottle in blind tastings, are given a single score. A score given as a range (e.g., 90-94) indicates a preliminary score, usually based on a barrel tasting of an unfinished wine. As of March 2008, we switched to rolling four-point spreads for unfinished wines. For example, one wine may be scored 85-88, another 87-90, another 89-92. We believe this better reflects the subtle differences between wines and gives our readers better information for their buying decisions. Most barrel tastings are blind; when they are not blind, this is specifically noted.
About Wine Spectator:
Wine Spectator editors review more than 15,000 wines each year in blind tastings. Every issue of Wine Spectator magazine contains 400 to 1,000 wine reviews with detailed tasting notes and drink recommendations. We set stringent standards for ourselves and rely on the proven ability and experience of our editors as tasters and critics. (Read our Statement of Ethics.) Below are the guidelines we follow in order to maintain the integrity of our tastings.

Harvest Season at City Winery Nashville
It’s Harvest Season at City Winery! As Nashville’s only urban winery, we’re proud to create locally made wine using grapes from all over the world. Over the next 30 days, our winemaking team and City Winery staff are hard at work during our winery’s crush process and planning for the next steps for fermentation, blending and so much more.
Our facility is designed to integrate the winemaking process with consumption and enjoyment of wine. The results are terrific: world-class wines being produced in the city, our urban wine country. This is an unparalleled experience with unique insight into wine.
“Welcome to Harvest Season at City Winery Nashville. This exciting time marks the beginning of our winemaking process, and every new vintage created in our urban winery brings a different characteristic of wine to your table.
Here at City Winery, we are fortunate to work with high quality crop from some of the world’s best producing vineyards. Because of this attention to detail, our wine can compare with some of the most esteemed wine producers on a global level. The only difference is… we make our wine in the heart of a major metropolitan city.“
Sincerely,
Bill Anton
Local Winemaker, City Winery Nashville
Stay tuned! We’ll also be hosting a very special event to celebrate Harvest Season in October of 2017. Details to be announced soon! Follow us on social media to see live updates from our winery!

Nashville Scene says “Nashville and City Winery Have Finally Figured Each Other Out”
“Is it a restaurant, a wine bar or a music venue? Yes.
Almost three years after opening the doors to the cavernous restaurant and performance hall, City Winery continues to evolve as the neighborhood grows up around it. Formerly isolated, before the big new roundabout slingshot conventioneers from the Music City Center toward the restaurant, and the Westin invited hundreds of guests to stay within a couple of blocks of the venue, City Winery has begun to become a fixture among visitors and locals as well.”

City Winery Nashville All Stars: Alexandra Cole
Our blog series, “City Winery Nashville All Stars,” is meant to share the hidden talents and unique qualities of our entire staff. Enjoy another peek inside our location’s employees’ lives outside the workplace.
This week’s City Winery Nashville’s All Star is Private Events Coordinator Alexandra Cole.
Where were you born, and how long have you lived in Nashville?
Born in Daphne, Alabama. Lived in Nashville for two years.
How long have you worked at City Winery? What is your role?
I started working at City Winery in June of 2015 as a server, and I’ve been working in my new position as Private Events Coordinator since January of 2017.
Have you always been interested in private events? Why? If not, what else interests you?
I love all things hospitality! I got involved in private events from the service/operations side of things while I was working in hotels, conference centers, and country clubs. I enjoyed the environment so much that I went to Auburn University to study hospitality management. It is incredibly rewarding. It’s such a privilege to help turn someone’s vision into a reality and play an integral role in bringing people together.
You’re also a talented musician and songwriter. Tell us more!
I’ve been singing and writing songs for as long as I can remember, and I started playing guitar almost eight years ago. I perform almost exclusively for my dog from the comfort of my living room (she’s my biggest fan), but it’s always a rush to try out new tunes in front of a live audience. That is definitely something I plan on doing more of in the future, and luckily, Nashville has no shortage of open mic nights and writer’s rounds!
12K Raised! | Hurricane Harvey & Hurricane Irma Relief with City Winery
During the entire month of September, all City Winery locations donated 50% of the proceeds from every order of risotto balls to All Hands Volunteers.
